Motherhood is a transformative journey filled with moments of joy, challenge, and growth. For many women, the desire to become a mother stems from their own upbringing, and that’s certainly true for this inspiring mom. Raised in a nurturing household, Jasmine always dreamt of being a mother, deeply rooted in the love she received from her own family.
Having been raised by a nurturing and loving mother, she has always felt a strong desire to become a mother herself. For her, motherhood is more than just a role—it’s a calling. Beyond simply liking children, she regards the opportunity to bring in and raise the next generation as a great privilege and honour.
Juggling Work and Family Life
Like many mothers, she balances a demanding career with the responsibilities of parenthood. As an editor in the petrochemical industry, her work is fast-paced and requires a sharp focus, but she manages to juggle these demands with motherhood through strong family support.
“The key to managing both is good organisation and the ability to switch mental gears. But I wouldn’t be able to do it without the help of my family,” she shares. This balance isn’t easy to achieve, but it shows her strength and ability to adjust.
“Accept help when you need it, and surround yourself with a good support system. Don’t beat yourself up if things aren’t perfect. Do your best, but remember, it’s okay if your best isn’t always what you envisioned,” her advice for other moms. It’s simple but powerful.
An Evolving Breastfeeding Journey
Breastfeeding has been an integral part of her motherhood experience, though it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. With her first child, breastfeeding was a challenge. The baby had a voracious appetite and struggled with latching, leaving her exhausted and her supply decreasing. Eventually, she supplemented with formula, but the experience left her feeling like she could have done more.
Her firstborn struggled with latching, and her milk supply suffered without lactation support, leading her to use formula. When her second child arrived, she was determined to make breastfeeding a more successful experience. This time, she sought out lactation support products early on and found herself benefiting greatly from them.
“With my second, I focused more on latching and began exploring lactation support products. The pandemic allowed me to work from home, so I had more time to pump regularly,” she says. Now, more than 2 years into her breastfeeding journey with her second child, she’s proud to still be going strong.
Discovering 2NUTGUYS
Her introduction to 2NUTGUYS was a turning point in her breastfeeding journey. She discovered the brand on Instagram and started her journey with their products, beginning with Roasted Almom Milk. She came across 2NUTGUYS on Instagram, and after trying Roasted Almom Milk, she never looked back.
From her first month postpartum, she began incorporating 2NUTGUYS products into her routine, hoping to boost her milk supply and enhance the quality of her breastmilk. The results spoke for themselves, and she soon found herself loving the products.
“I’ve tried many of their products, but Roasted Almom Milk and Mummy’s Nutmond Butter are my favourites. They’re hands down the most delicious lactation support products I’ve tried,” she explains. Not only did the products taste amazing, but they also helped her achieve her goal of producing creamy, nutrient-rich milk for her baby.
One of her favourite ways to enjoy 2NUTGUYS products is to stir a spoonful of Mummy’s Nutmond Butter into her oat porridge or spread it on bread and crackers. Roasted Almom Milk, on the other hand, is her go-to for cereal or a splash of added flavour in her tea.
The Turning Point: Seeing Results
Before discovering 2NUTGUYS, she had tried other lactation products, but they didn’t yield the results she was hoping for. With 2NUTGUYS, however, she noticed a significant difference. “After about 2-3 days of consuming Mummy’s Nutmond Butter, I saw an increase of 30ml per pump session,” she shares excitedly.
Before long, she was able to pump an impressive 320ml after a five-hour overnight interval, on top of baby latching. This increase in supply was a game changer for her, and it gave her the confidence she needed to continue breastfeeding.
Reflecting on Her Motherhood Journey
Looking back, she wishes she had access to these products when she was breastfeeding her first child. It might have made her first journey easier and allowed her to continue breastfeeding for longer than the 13 months she achieved.
“I wish I had these products the first time around! But the most important thing I’ve learned is that doing your best is enough. It’s not healthy to obsess over numbers—breastfeeding is about so much more than how much milk you produce.” For her, the journey is about emotional bonding and using her own body to nurture her children.
Celebrating the Rewards of Motherhood
For this dedicated mom, the most rewarding aspect of motherhood has been the bond she’s developed with her children through breastfeeding. “I feel deeply privileged to be able to breastfeed my children, and it’s a journey I would never exchange for anything in the world.”
To other moms, she offers this heartfelt encouragement: “Breastfeeding has so many benefits. Trust your body, do your best, and remember that every drop of milk helps your baby.”
